Joe Gallego was a long time volunteer coach and manager with East Fullerton Little League. He was an extraordinary example of what volunteers should stand for: selflessness and integrity. The ability to impact a young person's life not only on the ball field but off the field should be the goal that all managers and coaches are striving for. East Fullerton Little League makes every effort to encourage this type of behavior in our coaches. The Joe Gallego Award was created to promote and recognize this type of behavior.
EFLL would like your help in recognizing that special someone. Please take a minute to nominate a coach or manager that you feel has gone above and beyond in 2016. Click on the link below and give us a few detailed sentences as to why this person should be the recipient of the Joe Gallego Award for 2016.
We hope that you've had a great season thus far! As closing day is rapidly approaching start planning your end of season team party with many of us around Chapman park right after closing ceremonies on May 28th!
So bring out those barbecues, canopies, coolers, chairs and plan those fun filled activities and old fashion games for your team and make it a potluck style! Activity/game ideas are endless! Don't forget those cameras!
The league will provide hot dogs and buns for the teams that would like to receive. Be sure to join in on some fun as we put on an old-fashioned pie eating contest and a soft ball game between board members and coaches. ****Please send team parent coordinator a name of who will represent your team in the pie contest! Sorry one person only so make it good! Coach/parent only please.
Angels Day is on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Let's have our baseball player's come live the big league dream by parading on the field of the Angels Stadium. Sit with your team and cheer on the Angels as they take on the Baltimore Orioles. The team with the most participation on Angels Day will get an additional free 8 box suite tickets to a separate Angels game. Last day to turn in and order is May 14th!
Any questions, contact Sylvia Vergil at 714-360-8804 or via email.
Chapman Park from noon to 4 pm!
All players should wear their uniforms!
Players must have a minimum of one pledge to participate in the Hit-A-Thon. Emails have been sent out by 99 Pledges and/or paper donation forms passed out by team parents. Please let your team parent know if your child will be participating. You will also need to bring in the manual donation form (if you have one) on Sunday so we can log these into the 99 Pledges system. If you need either one of these, please send an email to email@example.com.
We have few days left to raise funds!
We are halfway through the season! Closing ceremonies are on Saturday May 28th. Start planning an end of season team party with your teams at Chapman Park. Last year we all had a great time! More details to come.
